I felt these balls from 100% alpaca neck and leg fiber from our white alpacas. There is nothing but alpaca in the balls and Kool-Aid dye for the colored balls. The balls vary from 2 1/2 inches to 3 inches in diameter.
These balls make nice, natural toys for pets and children. They do not bounce much, so no chasing balls around trying to catch them. They are tightly felted and are heavy enough to be thrown far for chasing games.
Choose from natural white or a range of Kool-Aid colors. These felted balls also can also be used as a dryer balls for your laundry. Simply toss several into your dryer when you dry clothes. It will reduce drying time because the balls move the clothes around more and also absorbs moisture leaving your clothes dry and fluffy. Add a drop of your favorite essential oil to the balls and your clothes will come out smelling fragrant. Use over and over again in replace of dryer sheets. Use 2-3 balls for small load, 3-4 for medium load and 5-6 for large load. The more balls, the more time it will cut down on drying time.
