I make dog leashes/lead ropes from my alpaca secondary fiber (neck and leg fiber). The rope starts out as single ply, then it is two plyed all on my spinning wheel. I then begin the rope making process of plying again and again and again so that you have a rope that is plyed at least 16 times. These are strong ropes that can be used for dogs, cats, bunnies, alpacas, llamas, etc.
The rope colors vary, but they are all natural colored. If you have a color preference, I'd be happy to accommodate your request if I have that color in my herd.
Each rope is unique and is approximately 5 feet long give or take a few inches.
A snap hook is permanently plyed into the rope.
