These feathers are from our pet chickens. The feathers are collected off the ground from when the chickens naturally molt. You will get 60 feathers (30 small and 30 large). The types of feathers are from Leghorns, Americaunas, Buff Orpingtons. The feathers may vary slightly from the photo.

About our flock: Our small flock of chickens, who are all named, are offered daytime free range, but come in during the evenings and are locked safely in their chicken coop so they can roost safely throughout the prairie nights. They are spoiled with fresh fruits and vegetables in addition to grass and seed. They normally outlive the typical chicken lifespan. Many of our chickens that we raised from chicks are now over 8 years old. The batch of feathers you are buying are from our younger generation of chickens. |
