Felted Hats are our speciality. Our hats have won blue ribbons in numerous fiber arts competitions. Judges have given us perfect scores with our felting being described as superior. Each felted hat is handmade here at our ranch. We also custom make felted hats from other ranch's fiber. Inquire if you have alpaca,llama or sheep fiber and you are interested in us making you felted hats. To have a Felted Hat Fiber hat made from your fiber, click here. Otherwise choose the hats made from our fiber. 8 ounces of larger micron fiber (over 28 microns) is needed per hat if you'd like hats made from your fiber. Please allow 2 weeks for your finished hat. If you have a deadline that you need a hat by, please ask as often I have hats in stock made from our alpaca fiber.
We make 5 styles of felted hats - Cowboy, Gambler, Explorer Fedora, Padre and Sunhat.
Each hat can be made in several sizes. To measure your head circumference simply take a tape measure or string and measure your head where your hat would sit going around from the forehead to the back of the head and back. Make sure to choose the correct size and style when ordering. Please note: Each style has slightly different size equivalents so order carefully by looking at what size you would take in each style that you choose.
Each hat is custom made to your specifications. Each hat takes many hours to card, felt, and sew. Because each hat is hand made, each hat is unique to your specific size, color and style; therefore your specific hat is nonreturnable.
How To Order Your Hat: After deciding on a style, size and color, please e-mail me at fmariann69@hotmail and let me know what style and size you'd like then I will go ahead and enable the inventory that will allow you you check out on the website for your specific hat. Each hat style, color and size will have no inventory available until I enable the website inventory system after knowing which hat, style and color you'd like.
