Jeff is a full time physical education teacher.  Jeff grew up on a family dairy farm, so alpaca ownership is a natural transition.  Mariann is a veteran teacher holding a Masters Degree in Reading/Education, with work towards a doctorate.  Mariann is home now full time with our daughter Maria working as a fiber artist/processor, and sheperd to the alpacas.  Mariann's felted alpaca creations are carried in stores and bought by ranches and individuals across the country and overseas. 

Both Mariann and Jeff are professional distance runners holding numberous state records in the ultramarathon.  Jeff has run a 2:14 marathon and 6 hour 50 miler, while Mariann's Personal Best's include a 4:44 mile, 35,54 10K, 2:56 marathon and 7:12 50 miler.  Jeff is a former Olympic Trials Finalist in the Marathon, while Mariann has been on the Olympic Development Program.  Mariann is currently contracted with Brooks  in the "Inspire Daily" program.  Both have recently run 100 mile trail races.

Both Mariann and Jeff enjoy spending times outdoors and in the Big Horn Mountains.  In addition to the alpacas, they also own Angora Rabbits raised for their fiber, horses, Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dogs, chickens, and their most trusted friend and watchful companian, their burro Aunt Maggie.
